There is no landmark more iconic to Prague than the Charles Bridge. It has been depicted and captured countless times. Yet, you will experience the city’s most famous structure in a completely unexpected atmosphere. We will purposely skip what tourists usually look at. Besides, we won’t meet any tourists at all, as we will set out onto the bridge while it is still dark.
You will discover both amusing and dramatic facts about the avenue of statues: which one was never finished, which one was swept away by a flood, and why the bridge’s decoration could have looked entirely different.
However, we will also recall modern stories—like the times when trams, or even a Formula 1 car, drove across the bridge. Finally, we will reveal the secret message hidden within the Old Town Bridge Tower.
